TryThis: A free art class from Skillpop in May, thanks to their partnership with Artisphere this year. 🎨 They’ll be at the Art Lab tent during Artisphere weekend (May 11-13), where you can try your hand at hand-dyeing textiles, making paper, relief printing, writing fiction, or painting pottery.

ForwardThis: Some of the our favorite food in Greenville can be found at a Pete’s/Petee’s (like that tasty chicken finger wrap from Como’s), but who exactly is Pete and why are all these restaurants named after him? 🕵️ Here’s the history behind it all.

EnterThis: Southern Hills Lavender’s lemon + lavender cake contest. There’s no cost to enter, so experiment a little + send in your recipe to info@southernhillslavender.com to take part in the tasting on May 12 at the Greer Farmers’ Market, judged by WSPA’s Jamarcus Gaston, a lavender expert from SHL, and a third judge TBD (fingers crossed they ask one of us).
