Ever showed up to work at your favorite coffee shop and it’s filled with people but you have to get on a call in 10 minutes? Working from home or a coffee shop can get really loud, and sometimes you need a space to spread out all your notebooks with plenty of peace + quiet. Enter Serendipity Labs, the coworking space just opened in the former Piedmont Plush Mill in West Greenville – you’ve probably seen the massive mural on the side of the building near the Spinx on Academy St.

We recently spent the day working there, taking advantage of every nook and cranny it had to offer. Our morning planning meeting started in a conference room equipped with TV and massive windows to enjoy the sun coming up. After lunch, we set up shop in a corner office with a little putting green, which was perfect to battle that mid-afternoon slump. We finished the day on the modern couches in the upstairs loft area with exposed beams.

Did we mention they have the type of kitchen you’ll want to call your own? Think white marble countertops, leather barstools and coffee towers filled with local coffee to go with the snacks + pastries available (sometimes even complimentary). It’s the perfect place to hold a networking event.

Curious to try it out for yourself? Click here for more info + to schedule a tour. Bonus: The first two months are complementary if you sign up before the end of the year.
