Proposed bill to pay for college athletes

Fox Carolina
As an Ole Miss football fan, I am well aware of the struggles and sanctions against paying college athletes 😒.

However, State Senator, Marlon Kimpson, is looking to change things up. Last week he proposed a bill that plans to wade into the controversy of providing money for collegiate athletes.

Paying collegiate athletes is a hot-button topic for many, but one that actually had the support of former South Carolina football coach, Steve Spurrier, who wanted to pay players $300 per game to help with housing.

Information is limited as the bill is still in it’s early stages, but if you have any thoughts on the subject, shoot them our way.
