Partner Spotlight: Reimagine the corporate retreat in Downtown

Mike Baur, the CEO of ScanSource, needed an alternative to off-work site retreats (read: Not hotel conference rooms). He found a local solution, Endeavor in Downtown Greenville.

“In the past, I wouldn’t have thought there was a place in Greenville you could have a corporate retreat,” Baur said. “I thought you had to go up to Asheville or the Highlands. Now that we have Endeavor, it’s just so much better.”

Endeavor is a coworking space for creatives. But another use? Corporate partnerships to get away from the busy offices. ScanSource has used Endeavor for internal retreats, executive interviews, and to promote their city to visitors.

The new Aloft hotel is Endeavor’s next-door neighbor, so it’s conveniently located for out-of-towners utilizing Endeavor’s space (who wouldn’t want to move to GVL after spending a day downtown?).
