Here’s what you need to know about the Papa Johns Mutt Strut

Benefiting the Greenville Humane Society, the Papa Johns Mutt Strut is fun for adults, kids, and four-legged friends alike.

Mutt Strut your stuff. The Papa Johns Mutt Strut is coming pup on Saturday, April 27.

What is the Mutt Strut?

People and their pups will parade proudly through downtown for a two mile run (or walk, if you prefer) benefiting the Greenville Humane Society.

What else is there to do?

The streets will be filled with activities like live music, caricature artists and face painters, and free pizza from Papa Johns. After the race, there will be a Mutt Market Festival + an after pawty.

How can my mutt and I sign up?

You can register for the race until Friday, April 26 for $40 per person. If you want to participate next year, be sure to keep up with pupdates — you can get a discounted entry fee if you sign up early.

You can also donate through the Greenville Humane Society.

How can I help?

If you have a mutt that doesn’t want to strut, you can volunteer at the event. The Mutt Strut is currently looking for folks to put up “no parking” signs, be a water distributor, and take over the extra fun job of “poop patrol.” Wonder what that means.

Here’s a tongue twister. How many mutts could a mutt strut strut if a mutt strut could strut mutts?
