Welcome to 2019, Greenville. We hope you spent last night counting down while watching the ball drop, singing along to your favorite band, or with a glass clink at midnight. (But if you were slumbering as the clock struck 12, we don’t blame you).

The last 365 days in 2018 we’ve tackled a lot together – from affordable housing + new developments to city history + so many food (and drink) lists – plus so much more. We’ve sent 261 daily newsletters in 2018, all of which were inspired by you, our readers.

In 2019, we’re committed to bringing you the best of our city. We’ll continue to inspire, inform + engage on Instagram, Facebook + Twitter. We’ll continue to answer all of your questions when you email us. We’ll continue to help be a guide for living Greenville with our daily newsletter + website. But most of all, we can’t wait to keep joining the conversation + answering what you want to know about your city. (Start brainstorming – we’re going to officially ask you what you want to see from us later this month).

While we have big goals for 2019, today we’re reflecting on the past year + our team is off spending time gearing up for what’s ahead. We hope you’re taking time off today to capstone a busy holiday season and settle in for the new year. See you tomorrow. 👋
