From snail mailers to journal jotters, Adair Johnson dreams of uniting those seasoned + new to the world of stationery through exploration, education and the perfect pen at her new shop, Dear Greenville.

The storefront opened last week, is located at Hampton Station behind White Duck Taco + offers items for all ages like paper goods + pens, journals, cards, and tape (to name a few) — from well-known brands like Midori, Mr. Boddington’s, and Studio Roof.

What about local artists? We’re glad you asked. Adair’s graphic design expertise carries through different goods in the shop + local artists like lighter note in Anderson, SC will have some cards ready to give for any occasion (like those anniversaries you “won’t” forget).

“I started dreaming of opening my own little space with every stationery item I could think of: pens in all colors of the rainbow; paper that you could buy by the sheet…,” says Adair in her story of how Dear Greenville came to be. “This daydream and the candy store from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory have some overlap.”

Drop into Dear Greenville + these other spots on your next trip to Hampton Station.

Dear Greenville is open Tuesday-Saturday at 11 a.m. Closing hours vary.
