Museum honoring military to be built in the Upstate

WSPA
The Greenville Airport Commission donated a military style Butler building near the Downtown Airport’s Runway Park (within a block of the proposed Swamp Rabbit Trail extension) to be developed into a museum by the Military History Center of the Carolinas.

Sixteen local companies are donating time and services towards developing the museum but definitely need help from the community.

If you would like to donate any military/veteran treasures, you can drop them off at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on South Pleasantburg Drive. They’ll also be holding a yard sale April 29 to help raise funds if you prefer to contribute by spending money for awesome stuff.

If you want more info on the project, here ya go.
