‘Tis the season to start buying holiday gifts for your loved ones – and to me (Sarah K. here), it always seems *particularly* difficult to shop for the men in my life.

Enter: H.Goose, an elevated rugged men’s apparel brand based right here in Greenville. Founded by Harris Quinn and John Pellett in 2015, H. Goose was started with the goal of creating timeless and quality men’s apparel and sportswear. Here’s what happened when I visited their local headquarters + shopped their products at Rush Wilson LTD (and how you can #TryThis this holiday season).

Experience:

Shopping local GVL menswear brand H. Goose

What we tried (with pricing):

First, we learned a bit of history about the company. What started with Harris building custom watches during his career in the Navy quickly turned into more, as he knew that he could turn this business into a lifestyle brand. He joined forces with John to create H. Goose (H. for Harris and Goose for Harris’ dog, Goose). From watches came a variety of products including sporting blankets, hats, tote bags + apparel.

In order to experience the products for myself, I went with John to Rush Wilson LTD in downtown Greenville to see what really made H.Goose *that* great. Upon arriving, you’ll instantly be greeted by Rush Wilson and his son Jay, who own and operate the men’s luxury apparel shop. Rush and Jay know how to create a shopping experience for their customers and had great things to say about H. Goose + the way people shop their products in-store.

What not to miss:

The H. Goose sporting blanket is one of their most versatile products. From picnics in Falls Park to making sure your pup keeps his muddy paws off your car’s interior, the sporting blanket was created with function in mind. Not only is it 100% made in America, but it’s machine washable making it functional *and* easy to clean. A tried and true product of the south, the sporting blanket is a must-have.

What we’re still talking about:

The experience at Rush Wilson can’t be matched. Jay and Rush have an uncanny ability to know exactly what their customer is looking for. They pride themselves on their quality products + top-notch service. You’re not a stranger in Rush Wilson – you’re a friend.
