GreenLink, Greenville’s public transit program, has launched a Reduced Fare ID Card Program. For riders that qualify for reduced fare pricing. This is given to customers 65-years and older, Medicare recipients, and disabled veterans.
The thought is that this card, which can’t store info like a SSN, and has no monetary value, will quickly let Greenlink staff know to charge the reduced rate when boarding or purchasing passes.

Non-reduced prices are $5 for all day pass, $1.50 for a one-way trip, $0.50 for a transfer, and $27 for a 20-ride pass. The discounted fares are $0.75 for a one-way trip, $0.25, 20-Ride Punch Pass, $13.50. Students + passengers under 17 have a discounted fare of $1.25 one way, and kids under 5 ride free.
