Life post Panthers: Morrison will soon find out

WYFF 4
Carolina Panthers team president since 2009, Danny Morrison, has resigned from the position.

“I have enjoyed my time with the Panthers and want to thank Mr. Richardson and everyone involved with the organization,” Morrison said.

Morrison’s departure was a big surprise to fans, although he told the team it had been on his mind for a while. He credits his success to all of the people in his life, particularly his mentors.

Prior to joining the team, he worked at his alma mater, Wofford College, and Texas Christian University. Morrison’s efforts in renovating Bank of America Stadium and revamping the Panthers Training Camp at Wofford College were vital, the team said.

No replacement for the position has been named yet.
