Labor Day weekend is just around the corner + we’ve got a list of events to celebrate the last big summer weekend in style. From drive-in movies to apple festivals — this summer is going out with a bang. ☀️

Sippin’ Safari | Sept. 3 | 6:30-9:30 p.m. | Greenville Zoo | $30-$75 | Enjoy an evening stroll through the zoo during the 14th annual Sippin’ Safari + taste over 60 wines, eat food samples, and listen to live music.

Drive-in Movies | Sept. 2-4 | 7:30 p.m. | 25 Drive-In, 3109 Highway 25 South, Greenwood | $5+ | Movies playing this weekend are — Shang-Chi, Jungle Cruise, Candyman, Don’t Breathe, and Escape Room. ProTip: arrive early so you can order dinner — we recommend the hand-pattied burgers.

Music in the Woods | Sept. 4 | 2-4 p.m. | Paris Mountain State Park | Cost of park admission | Kismet Kind is bringing the sad girl rock to the park.

Music in the Park | Sept. 4 | 6 p.m. | Trailblazer Park, 125 Trailblazer Dr., Travelers Rest | Free to attend | Food trucks, beer, and wine will be available at 6 p.m. and The Ross Osteen Band starts at 7 p.m.

Labor Day Weekend Celebration | Sept. 4-5 | 11 a.m.-5 p.m. | City Scape Winery, 589 Dunklin Bridge Rd., Pelzer | Free | Smokn’ Thangz BBQ, Houni’s Italian Ice, Sonny’ Grill, and Sweet G’s will be on site with great food + there will be live music all afternoon.
