Calling all women of Greenville. Are you looking to get more involved in the community alongside a group of like-minded women? Meet the Junior League of Greenville. Since 1929, JGL has been a growing space for thousands of young, professional women who want to make an impact. All women who are ages 21+ and residents of Greenville county are eligible to join.

JLG will be hosting several April events where you can learn more about how to become a part of their growing League.

First up is a recruitment happy hour via Zoom on Tuesday, April 13 from 5:30-7 p.m. BYOB and chat with current Members. Register here. 🥂

Prospective new Members can learn about their Provisional (first) Year and more in-depth info at one of two open houses:

  • Wednesday, April 14 at 6 p.m., in-person at JLG HQ — register here.
  • Saturday, April 24 at 9 a.m. via Zoom — register here.

Sound like you? Fill out an interest form here.

A member’s Provisional (first) Year starts in June and goes through May, during which members will typically spend around 40-50 hours completing their initial requirements. These include volunteering at the Nearly New Shop and learning more about the JLG’s Community Impact Areas, Human Trafficking and Economic Mobility.

As a training organization that engages in initiatives that help women overcome barriers, the Junior League of Greenville is a great way to help you continue to be a part of the community with new gal pals by your side. â“…
