Yesterday, in a short and bitter-sweet blog post by Greenville’s coding school startup, The Iron Yard announced it will be closing all of it’s doors for good.

Back in March we learned that The Iron Yard was struggling in some locations, shutting the doors on their Arkansas, Minneapolis, San Antonio and Cincinnati locations. However, the coding school still had operations out of cities such as Atlanta; Austin; Charleston, South Carolina; Charlotte, Durham, Greenville and Raleigh, North Carolina; Dallas; Houston; Indianapolis; Las Vegas; Nashville, Tennessee; Orlando; Tampa Bay; and Washington, D.C.

The Iron Yard, which was founded in 2013, sold a majority stake to once publicly traded, Apollo Education Group Inc. back in 2015.
