Local artist Brandon Seabrook Nelson is creating moving works of art through graffitti, acrylic, watercolor + more to challenge Greenville to think more about diversity and inclusion – especially during BlackHistory Month.

The native Greenvillian works at Bridge City Coffee, but expresses himself through visual art. This week, he’s been creating sketches of important African-Americans throughout history, like Sojourner Truth and Jackie Robinson. Follow him on Instagram: @seabrook84.

“Black history should be 365,” says Nelson. “It’s American history.”
