Visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads… but this year we’re dreaming of something a little different. Like bites from a gourmet food truck, hot cocoa + s’mores, and donating to those in need.

Holidays at Hartness has all that + more planned for Thursday, Dec. 6 (6 – 8 p.m.). The in-progress traditional neighborhood development will be filled with people sipping cider, decorating cookies and getting a feel for the community that’s developing off Highway 14 and the iconic Grand Lawn that the event will take place on.

The Table 301 Highway 301 Food Truck will be on-site for comforting dishes – the seasonal winter menu features pulled pork mac and cheese + a Southern fried chicken sandwich. Finish things off with a toasty s’more, then drop off your new, unwrapped Toys for Tots donations to share the holiday spirit.

There’ll be live music to dance to, an open fire to warm up by, and a tree lighting ceremony to bring everyone together. And we hear Santa himself will make an appearance… count us in.

Pro tip: The first 100 people to arrive, get a free cozy holiday blanket.
