BeerMile: This Sunday marks the first annual Cottonmouth Beer Run & Relay ( 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.). Teams will run an 8 mile course (the 2 mile Trailblazer Park loop 4x), where runners must chug a beer before they start each cycle. If you haven’t seen the world record beer miler, watch now.

Free: It’s National Flip Flop Day so naturally Tropical Smoothie CAFE is giving away a free sunshine smoothie to anyone who wears flip flops into either of their Woodruff Road locations between 2 – 7 p.m. today.
