Local medical technologies company, ChartSpan which helps doctors manage compliance and care coordination programs, just landed a huge funding round led by Dallas-based firm, Cypress Growth Capital. A $16M round to be exact, which they plan to use to create over 300 new jobs and a salesforce that can help them expand beyond the Appalachian region (that’s in addition to the 200 they’ve already created).

ChartSpan, who now has an office on North Main, started in Houston before moving to Spartanburg in 2013 for the Iron Yard’s accelerator program, and then eventually moved to Greenville.
