The Greenville Swamp Rabbits are back in action. 🙌 Tonight’s game is Opening Night, celebrating the team’s 10th Anniversary Season and the first with a Carolina Hurricanes affiliation.

🗓️ The schedule:

Tonight’s game is against the Jacksonville Icemen at Bon Secours Wellness Arena at 7:05 p.m. Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased here. The Swamp Rabbits faced Jacksonville last Saturday (Oct. 12) and took the win in overtime, 4-3. The victory marks the first time the team has won the first game of the season since 2013 – so we’re off to a great start.

🏒 Events + activities:

The Swamp Rabbits are known for being involved in the Upstate. Leading up to tonight’s game, the team has been hosting 30 Days of Hope, an initiative where give back to the local community.

Throughout the season, they host a range of events and activities for fans to participate in (Pucks ‘N’ Paws is an office favorite). See what’s happening this weekend below and check out the full promotional schedule here.

  • Pepsi Patio is open before the game at 5:30 p.m. tonight with live music and a cash bar.
  • Stomper’s Golden Egg Hunt will be held tonight – be on the lookout for 20-30 golden eggs with prizes in them.
  • Following Sunday’s game, kids and families can skate with the players during the Post-Game Skate.

The Swamp Rabbits are running a ticket promo this weekend – if you buy a ticket for Opening Night, bring your ticket stub back on Sunday to receive a free ticket for that day’s game.

First of all, welcome to the club. You’ll want to look the part with some Swamp Rabbits gear from the Hop Shop. Bon Secours Wellness Arena has a clear bag policy, so double check the regulations to make sure your bag is approved.

Last but not least – when the Swamp Rabbits play at home, fans can donate $1 to receive a foam puck to throw on the ice at the end of the game as part of the “Chuck a Puck” program. Donations made during the games are donated to local nonprofits.
