Greenville’s got some pretty picturesque spots, but when it comes to finding a landmark that best represents our city – what comes to mind?

We all know the most obvious answerthe Liberty Bridge – and while she certainly is a stunner, we wanted to see what other places that locals + out-of-towners alike look at and immediately think of GVL?

We asked you on Instagram + in our inbox what iconic images evoke the spirit of #yeahTHATgreenvilleand then ranked them based on your votes.

5. The Furman University Bell Tower

You don’t have to be a Furman grad to know that Furman University has one of the most beautiful campuses. The Bell Tower continues to be an iconic shot for many an Instagram post.

4. The Medusa Tree

The Medusa Tree? The Root Tree? Whatever it is you call this tree, it’s certainly a recognizable downtown landmark.

3. Poinsett Hotel

This historical hotel opened in the 1920s, making it a symbol of Greenville for almost 100 years. It continues to be a popular backdrop for bridal + wedding pictures.

2. The Wyche Pavilion

1. The Peace Center
