So, you’re on the hunt – where should you settle down? Do yourself a favor, and skip throwing the dart at the map. I’ve got the perfect answer for you: Greenville, South Carolina! Load up the moving truck + leave your boring town behind.

You won’t have to worry about unemployment if you move to Greenville, South Carolina. Not only will you be relocating to one of the great southern states of the East Coast, but the job market is booming! Furthermore, you have tons of great jobs (and residential movers) to choose from. In addition, the employment rate is estimated to have risen almost six percent! Can you see the opportunities that await you? The job market is growing alongside the average household income rate, which has risen almost eight percent as well. With the steadily increasing income rate and job market, you can feel comfortable knowing you can support a family in Greenville. If this isn’t a great reason to move to the city, then I’m not sure what is!

A family-friendly city

Your kids are going to beg you to move to Greenville when they hear about all the incredible parks the city has to offer. There are over 5 parks + a zoo within a 5-mile radius of downtown. The city of Greenville even has a free splash pad right in downtown! We hope you have a cooler and a few ice packs because we know where you will be all summer. But don’t worry, there’s tons to do when the weather isn’t ideal + you can’t utilize the city’s outdoor spaces. On rainy days when you can’t lay out at the splash pad and enjoy the sunshine, there is always the Roper Mountain Science Center.

In Greenville, you have the opportunity to raise your children in a growing city that offers a mix of both fun and education. What more could you ask for?

An adventurist’s dream

Maybe you haven’t settled down, and you are not interested in the family side of the city – don’t write it off just yet! Greenville offers a number of attractions that are things an outdoorsman can only hope that the city he calls home will have. Nature trails await you in Greenville. Falls Park on the Reedy + Paris Mountain State Park are two of the more popular scenic attractions that the city has to offer.

The historian’s paradise

The City of Greenville is overflowing with just as much fun as it is intriguing history. Can you say city of gold? There is a bell tower in downtown Greenville that has a history dating back to the Netherlands and the late 1700s! There are a total of seven historic districts that are waiting for you to come explore. You will reach all new activity levels on your watch! If you can’t make the trek, you can always hop on the free trolley downtown + make your way around to the Colonel Elias Earle Historic District.

Greenville is home to a number of delicious restaurants. We hope you love southern comfort food! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Traditional isn’t the name of the game in Greenville. Southern cuisine takes on a whole new twist at places like Tupelo Honey where classic potato skins meet a pimento cheese twist. You have a number of choices when it comes to your cultural tastes. There are Tex-Mex, Mediterranean, Persian, Belgian, French, and Greek places to eat too! The options are endless. How will you ever choose where to eat? This is just another reason to move to Greenville! You will need tons of time to scour the restaurant scene.

Greenville is located in the perfect location for you to be able to plan small weekend getaways. We know, it is going to be very hard to convince yourself to ever leave, even if it is only for a vacation! You can visit a number of incredible cities with ease thanks to the two airports located in Greenville. If you aren’t a fan of flying, don’t sweat it! You will live less than one hundred and fifty miles to Atlanta, Georgia + Charlotte, North Carolina. You have many mini vacation opportunities when you call Greenville, South Carolina home.

The city of Greenville, South Carolina has so much to offer. Your friends will hear about all the fun you’re having living in Greenville, and they’ll be flying in to see you. We sure hope you like company!
