Ordering a birthday cake. Getting a mortgage quote. Booking a (2021) vacation. We can pretty much do anything from our phones and banking shouldn’t be any different. Greenville Federal Credit Union is upgrading online banking with its new, advanced online banking system.

After two years in development, the credit union underwent their big project of “Core Conversionearlier this year, converting their data processing system to a brand new system that officially launched on March 2. The new system utilizes cutting-edge fintechfinancial technology – to make transactions faster, more convenient + more secure.

Coming in handy now more than ever (hello, pandemic), Greenville Federal Credit Union members can easily, securely and remotely access the credit union’s online services and mobile app, utilizing personalized features to make sure they’re on top of their finances. Members can deposit money, pay bills + apply for loans or new accounts, all while staying socially distant.

New system features include:

  • Enhanced account access with additional security measures and controls
  • More personalized account features and functionality to better manage money
  • Improved efficiencies in service, online, via phone + in a branch

The conversion coincides with the launch of a new in-person banking experience last fall.

Greenville Federal Credit Union will reopen branch lobbies for limited services on June 1. Members still have access to drive-thru services and ATMs until branch lobbies are fully open. Drive-thru hours have been extended from 8 a.m to 6 p.m., and they’ve increased Night Drop collection, meaning deposits made to the Night Drop box are collected throughout the business day.

Additional resources include 24/7 access to PhoneBranch and online how-to’s to help answer every customer question.
