In this free, six week program, you’ll learn how Greenlink works and discuss the opportunities and challenges it faces in serving as Greenville’s public transportation.

If you’ve ever wondered about what happens behind the scenes of the city’s public transportation? Greenlink has the answers. Enter: The 2023 Citizens Transit Academy. 🚍

Applications are now open for Greenlink’s free, six week program. Up to 30 students will be selected to discuss the opportunities + challenges of Greenville’s public transportation on Tuesdays from 6:30-8 p.m. (Tues., Jan. 3, 2023-Tues., Feb. 7, 2023).

Specific session topics include:

  • Greenlink’s services
  • Operations and safety
  • Finances
  • Bus stops and route planning
  • The Transit Development Plan

Once you graduate from the Citizens Transit Academy, you’ll be “recognized as a knowledgeable representative of public transit.”
