Graham against Sanction Relief to Russia

The State
S.C. Senator Lindsey Graham is spearheading the Russia Sanctions Review Act with two other Republican senators and three Democratic senators. This act would require Congress to have the final say in any sanction changes placed on Russia.

The current sanctions were imposed by the Obama administration due to alleged Russian cyber attacks on the U.S.

“To provide relief at this time would send the wrong signal to Russia and our allies who face Russian oppression. Sanctions relief must be earned, not given,” Graham said in a statement.
