A new downtown Sunday brunch + unique pub food, paired with the perfect sports-watching atmosphere — that (along with 7+ beers) is what’s on tap at The Bellwether Public House. Here’s how you can Try This.

What we tried:

City Editor Danielle here. I recently met up with fellow Liverpool F.C. fans through Football Fanatix of Greenville to catch a game just steps away from Fluor Field. With two bars, indoor + outdoor seating (with heaters for cooler days), turf filled with yard games, and 24 televisions, this is the perfect place to catch a game.

What not to miss:

You can’t miss The Bellwether’s elevated but approachable pub food. We first told you about the new menu when it dropped last summer, but even newer is the brunch menu.

Featuring bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys, classics like pancakes, and elevated brunch fare like the Hangover Burger (topped with a fried egg and bacon) + the avocado toast (City Editor Danielle’s pick), there’s something for everyone.

What we’re still talking about:

We’re still talking about the Swinging Pretzel. Not only is this soft pretzel larger-than-life, but it’s topped with herb butter and served with a deliciously cheesy sauce.

Here’s the best part: If you visit The Bellwether and tell your server you heard about the Swingin’ Pretzel in GVLtoday, you get a complimentary one (with the purchase of another snack, app, or entree).

How you can experience this:

You can experience The Bellwether Tuesday-Thursday 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday + Saturday 11 a.m.-10 p.m., and Sunday (for brunch) 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Plus, it opens early for select events.

This is the perfect spot to watch March Madness (especially if you’re a remote worker looking for a place to post up for those daytime games — we won’t tell). There will also be parties for St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday, March 16 + the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 4.

Plus, The Bellwether is always looking for groups and fan clubs to host watch parties in its space.
