Yes, chef. The MICHELIN Guide has chosen Greenville as the host of its first American South Ceremony on Monday, Nov. 3, at The Peace Center.

The American South guide includes the Carolinas, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee (and the pre-existing Atlanta Guide) + opens the door for local restaurants to earn MICHELIN Stars for the first time in history.

Greenville has housed Michelin North America’s headquarters for 50+ years, and although the guide is known globally, this event hopes to celebrate the connection between Michelin + the area it has impacted.

“We’re honored to welcome the MICHELIN Guide ceremony to a destination that truly values culinary craftsmanship,” said Heath Dillard, president and CEO of VisitGreenvilleSC.

More details about the event will be released in the coming months, and it’s invitation-only. We didn’t want you sitting by your mailbox.
