Finally, the T-50A takes flight (again)

Lockheed Martin’s second production-ready T-50A from took flight this week from their Advanced Pilot Training (APT) operations center in Greenville.

Lockheed plans to import the parts from South Korea where the jet is currently manufactured and then assemble them here locally. This contract would bring 200 jobs to Greenville and would be worth $8-10 billion over the next 16 years.
