Beverly Hills has Rodeo Drive, New York has Madison Avenue – where is Greenville’s fashion hub?

We were driving down Augusta Street the other day when we noticed new signage on this storefront.

Online, Ever Row is listed as a clothing store featuring a “unique college lifestyle and fashion experience.” When they open at 1 Augusta St. (don’t worry, Mellow Mushroom is still open – they’re just in the same building), they’ll join neighboring Monkee’s of the West End, Copper Penny of Greenville, Pink Bee West End, Cocobella Boutique, Augusta Twenty + many more.

With this collection of stores and boutiques, is Augusta St. our “Fashion Row”?

The area has been recognized for its fashion impact before. TOWN’s Fashion on the Town event (last held in 2017) encouraged participants to tour local retail locations in downtown Greenville + Augusta St. Now, some of the stores on Augusta St. host the Augusta Road Fall Fashion Crawl (this year on Oct. 24).

Augusta St. has a lot to offer – but there’s still room to grow. There’s an Avison Young listing for additional retail space at 1 Augusta St. Plus, The Cook’s Station will be moving into their new location (at the corner of Butler Ave. and Buncombe St.) around Spring 2020.
