Greenville County is full of students and teachers doing incredible work — and Fantastic Scholastic is where we tell those stories.

Know someone we should feature? Submit your standout scholars and educators.

January | Mission: Robotics

Who: Christ Church Episcopal School students Lillian and Nicky Arzt + J.L. Mann student Henry Quackenbush.

What: After aging out of competitive robotics, they launched Mission: Robotics, a student-led nonprofit helping Title I elementary and middle schools in Greenville County start FIRST Lego League teams — covering funding, supplies, and mentorship.

Why it matters: They’re removing cost barriers to STEM education, and it’s already paying off: Lead Academy’s fifth-grade team recently placed first in Core Values and is headed to regionals.
