Although it’s hard to think about anything but stuffing, grandma’s gravy recipe, and what pair of stretchy pants are acceptable at the family get together tomorrow, it’s always nice to take a step back and reflect on what we’re thankful for. You know someone in your family is going to make you say it anyway.

We’re thankful that we get to explore + write about a city we love so much, so we found it appropriate to ask you guys what about Greenville you’re most thankful for.

We didn’t have a table or butcher paper available for everyone to write down their responses, so we took to social media. However, we highly recommend the butcher paper tablecloth that everyone can draw on for Thursday.

14 responses that will make you feel thankful, too:

Gville.mom Thankful that after living here for one year and I refer to it as Denver, SC (we moved from Denver) people understand. Biking. Hiking. Mountains. (with green grass and trees to boot!). The only (and best) difference? Southern hospitality. So thankful we found Greenville. #yeahTHATgreenville

NeNe Stevens I am thankful for the people of Greenville. I recently moved here to the area and everyone has been loving, welcoming, and helpful. You all have helped to create a beautiful city.

Erin Fletcher I’m thankful to be part of the thriving west side with its brick mills, water towers, mill homes and the wonderful, diverse people who I am proud to call my neighbors.

Mckenna Eileen Haley I’m so thankful that I have had the opportunity to attend college in Greenville these past 5 years. I fell in love with Greenville, the people, downtown, and everything that Greenville has to offer my freshman year. Greenville stole my heart and I hope to move to Greenville after I graduate in may. #GVLtoday #yeahTHATgreenville

ellabesas Thankful for the moments we remember to be thankful. “The things we take for granted, someone else is praying for.” @gvltoday forever thankful for you and beer festival tickets- someone would’ve definitely thrown some fists up for those.
