Celebrate: The Homeless Period Project Period Party | 6 — 8 p.m. | The Community Tap | The Homeless Period Project is turning 3, and what better way to celebrate than to party! Donate regular size menstrual pads + panty liners (tampons are not needed - HPP will bring).

Pairings Party and Silent Auction | 6 — 9 p.m. | Avenue | Warm up to the Spinx Charity Classic. Check out some good eats + bid on yourself something nice.

Causes: Wings of Hope | Greenville Spartanburg Airport property | Three-day simulation that will measure the Upstate’s response, operation, and communication relation to national disasters. | Ends 5/9

ForTeens: Calling Down Lightning Celebrating the Benjamin Franklin Experience | 5:30 — 8:30 p.m. | This event will feature a career carnival, music written by teens, prize drawings, and mocktails (no id required). | Ages 14 — 18 | Tickets: $75

Tuesday, May 8

Sports: SPINX Charity Classic Golf Tournament | 10 a.m. | Greenville Country Club, Chanticleer, Cliffs Keowee, and Cliffs Valley courses

Celebrate: Truck Inn Tuesday | 6 — 9 p.m. | Swamp Rabbit Inn |What better way to celebrate the most boring day of the week? Party complete with food from Automatic Taco + King of Pops, music by The Rockabilly Rogues, and more fun.

Drink: Summertime Wine Tasting | 6 — 7 p.m. | Cork & Tap | Get a taste of the upcoming seasonal wines. | $15

Wednesday, May 9

Celebrate: Block Party at Five Forks | 5 — 8 p.m. | Lowes Foods Five Forks | Come out for some great food + to say hi to the folks of Five Forks. There will be various vendors on site. Also, if you’ve your own business, this may be a great opportunity to promote it.

90’s Party | 6 — 10 p.m. | Growler Haus Village | Going back to a simpler time (like when drink prices were cheaper). Expect 90’s themed drinks (like Surge?), a costume contest, and giveaways. We’re already pulling out our Pulp Fiction and Saved By The Bell fits.
