Announced: Eagle Mountain Winery

Pippin Hill Winery

Greenville’s Eagle Mountain Winery will be designed similarly to Pippin Hill in Virginia | Photo provided

Over a million people live within 45 minutes of the 54-acre plot of land that will become Eagle Mountain Winery in 2019. 📍The winery + vineyard will be in north Greenville County near Landrum on Highway 11, with 40-mile views of the Blue Ridge Mountains + close proximity to three state parks (making it a perfect stop after a day of hiking).

The boutique winery will be modeled after Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards in Virginia (pictured), with George Bursick serving as director of winemaking (he has 35+ years of experience with California wineries). We can already hear all the soon-to-be brides pulling up Eagle Mountain Winery’s website for wedding planning.

Amenities:

🔵 Bocce ball courts

🚶 Walking trails

🔥 Fire pits

🎨 Monthly food, wine, music and art events (open to the public)

🌻 Outdoor sculpture + botanical garden

💒 Available for weddings and private events during off hours

🍷 Exclusive Wine Club memberships with benefits including free Italian cuisine every Sunday, wine camps + winemaker dinners

Until the grapevines have matured at Eagle Mountain Winery (usually around year 3 or 4), the wines will be made from grapes grown in the wine regions of California.

As soon as this place opens, you can catch me on the patio with a glass of red wine + a slice of the Great Wall Chocolate Cake.
