Who’s hungry? School Food Rocks — a company that provides consultation +training to manufacturers and school districts across the country — signed a lease for 2,000 sqft of the Landmark Building for its new headquarters.
Founder of School Food Rocks and former food and nutrition services director for Greenville County Schools Joe Urban says the goal is to create healthier menus that resonate with students.
In addition to culinary + operations training you can expect to find a dining area, a 25-seat conference center, a podcast studio . School Food Rocks has its own podcast, and you can listen to interviews with nutritionists, industry experts, and school food service directors.
Renovations will take ~2 months and Urban hopes to be open by May 1.
