City Editors Stephanie and Danielle here. We went to the Trueline music venue ground breaking yesterday, and it was a blast. Literally — they blasted down a wall.

After the walls came tumbling down, we heard from CEO and Founder Mike Grozier about the vision for the space — to bring national touring + local artists to our favorite city.

You can also host your event here, grab daily coffee, cocktails, and small plates, and get a membership when they become available. Plus, the new venue creates 500+ jobs.

We heard from the Mayor about what a venue like this means to Greenvillians. “Mike Grozier learned there was a hunger for more music venues,” Mayor White said. “He (Grozier) saw something else in Greenville. He saw that we’re a city who says ‘yes!’”

No official opening date has been announced, but the venue should open in 2025. We hope you’re ready to rock.
