Meet your match at Single Scene

Two Greenvillians founded Single Scene to help find community and “ditch the dating apps.”

“Is your dating life a swing and a miss? Well, don’t worry. I’m here to play cupid…”

That’s how Gabby Marcellus marketed Single Scene — a trending new social club for Greenvillians looking for love — to her 376,900+ TikTok followers recently. The partnership between Marcellus and her friend Madi Scott has led to sold-out events at Papi’s Tacos, Swanson’s Warehouse, Gather GVL, and PKL Park.

“Every two weeks, we throw events where you can come and meet other singles and mix and mingle,” Marcellus said.

When you arrive at a Singles Scene event, you get a wristband that shows others at the event what your dating status is:

  • Green — open to a relationship
  • Yellow — not sure what you’re looking for
  • Red — not looking for a relationship, but there to have fun

If you’re looking to meet people, follow @singlescenegvl to grab tickets to upcoming events, and — who knows — maybe you’ll meet your match.
