Itās the 30-year anniversary of the NC Mountain State Fair, which is back and bigger than ever.
Thatās right, the beloved 10-day festival and celebration of all things NC has returned, now through Sunday, Sept. 15, and daily tickets start at $9 ($5 for kiddos).
The jam-packed schedule includes:
- 40+ carnival rides
- Craft, gardening + dance competitions
- Local food trucks and vendors
- Livestock shows
- Regional music from the Mountain Music Festival
- Pig races, both running and swimming (oh yes, swimming pigs)
- Acrobatics and magic shows
