Keeping your New Year’s resolution doesn’t have to be a drag when you can kick off your health goals for 2021 with one of these 6 workouts offered at the YMCA of Greenville. Even better? The Y is offering a $0 joining special all month long.

Staying active is a great way to boost your immunity this winter, especially with both the flu + COVID-19 in our midsts. Plus, the YMCA has been keeping up with an extensive list of cleaning + safety measures in all branch locations. 💪

Flex Fit

Flex Fit is the YMCA of Greenville’s signature health and wellness program created for everyone — from the people who count going on a grocery run as serious exercise (🙋) to the ones who bench 200 with no problem. The program was created by the Y’s wellness team to offer an exercise program that’s flexible for everyone’s needs + goals.

Virtual Y

If you’re still not quite comfortable stepping foot in a gym, Virtual Y provides a variety of virtual workout classes that you can exercise along to in the comfort of your own home, from yoga to weightlifting to dance fitness classes.

Beast Mode

This high-intensity training class will help you work on both your strength + endurance, with workouts centered around Olympic lifting, gymnastics, and plyometrics – so you’ll easily stay engaged and reach *beast mode* in no time.

Personal Training

Personal trainers are a great resource to keep up motivation + help you reach your fitness goals. The Y’s nationally certified personal trainers can help you in a variety of ways — like one on one training, duo personal training, small group training, or virtual personal training.

Group Exercise Classes

You’re sure to find a group class that piques your interest, whether it be cycling, yoga, Body Pump, or barre. (And there’s a lot more where that came from.)

Spring Youth Sports

Because we can’t leave out the young athletes — the Y offers several spring sports leagues for children ages 3-14, like soccer, T-ball + more. Registration begins as early as Jan. 1 for soccer and March 8 for other spring sports.
