Happy Hallo-week, Greenville. Here are some the top reader-submitted scary stories.

“Some friends and I had a very paranormal experience at the Poinsett Bridge at night. When we arrived, we left the car running with headlights pointed at the bridge for light. We took a spare key, and locked the doors. Upon crossing the mid-point of the bridge the vehicle lights turned off. We heard footsteps following us back to the car, but saw no one. When we got back the door was unlocked, car turned off, and windows had been unrolled.” — @donovanpottery

In broad daylight, we saw a 6'4" shirtless man wearing a Skeletor mask and carrying a machete wander out of the woods, maybe 50 ft from us. He didn’t notice us, but we both froze and waited for him to be out of sight before we got out of there.” — @void.bound

I have seen two witches on Main Street for several years. Always in the month of October.” — Topaz
