Three ways to celebrate Christmas in July

We’re halfway to Christmas and it’s time to celebrate. We rounded up a list of local Christmas in July events.

Ho Ho Ho. Christmas in July is on the horizon and Santa called to ask for our help rounding up spots with local celebrations.

Clare’s Creamery | 1635 E. North St.
On Tuesday, July 25, taste limited batches of your favorite holiday flavors, including peppermint crunch, eggnog, and gingerbread man. We also heard that Santa — yes, THE Santa — will be there from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Thomas Creek | 2054 Piedmont Hwy.
Some say Santa prefers beer to milk. Celebrate the big guy himself on Saturday, July 29. Grab a beer, a bite, and some mistletoe.

Wine and Design | 1175 Woods Crossing Rd.
Get into the holiday spirit early with a Christmas-themed painting class. Bring your own booze — we recommend eggnog — grab a few of your favorite elves, and rock the night away.
