The Bolden Street District, coming soon to Laurens Road, is expected to break ground late this summer. It could be 10 to 15 years before the entire project is complete, with it taking place in several phases.

The 90 acres east of the Laurens Road corridor — from Haywood Road past Verdae Commons Drive — aims to be a “vibrant, connected, and pedestrian-oriented destination.” The project will create a walkable district featuring homes and apartments, retail shops, offices, green spaces, and improved connectivity to the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trailwith 1.5 miles of the trail fronting the land.
