NEXT Launchpad provides $95,000 in services to local startups

From healthcare to a hostel, Greenville, SC companies will help support these seven ventures.

Greenville’s good at a lot of things, and celebrating entrepreneurs is one of them. NEXT — a nonprofit supporting local startups — held its second annual Launchpad event on April 6.

This year, 50+ applicants competed for $95,000 worth of prizes across seven categories (think: legal services to team development) to help local entrepreneurs grow their ventures.

Modal | This “globally-recognized and technically-advanced hostel concept” received the Business Consulting package from Elliott Davis.

Avallano | Aimed at improving patient recruitment and retention, this SaaS (read: software as a service) company received Find Great People’s HR and Team Development package.

Incora Health | SLANT provided a Branding and Design package to this data-driven company focused on tracking fertility health and wellness management through wearable devices, like earrings.

Bottle Titan | Focused on “customizable solutions for next-generation, real-time asset tracking in any industry,” this startup received the Legal Services package provided by Wyche.

Metatomic | Providing fuel salt for thermal and fast molten salt reactors, this company works to produce carbon-free electricity through dry spent nuclear fuel processing and received the SEO and Digital Marketing Services package from DFS Creative Concepts.

Builder Rocket | A digital platform aimed at eliminating the communication gap between builders, home buyers, subcontractors, distributors, and manufacturers received The Seed Grant with funding provided by SCRA.

AR Funding | This company provides working capital through alternative financing options (read: invoice factoring) and received Software Prototyping from Designli.
