It’s almost turkey time, GVL. Thanksgiving is coming up Thurs., Nov. 24, and with the way these last few weeks have flown by, you may be planning your Thanksgiving day meal.

Sweet Potato Soufflé | Ji-Roz, 644 N. Main St., #100 | Reader Margaret says she picks up what she needs from Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery, but she leaves “the best sweet potatoes” to Ji-Roz.

Squash Casserole | Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack, 420 Laurens Rd. | Cheesy, squashy goodness is on the menu, but good luck placing your order without adding on some Coca-Cola Cake.


Salted Caramel Apple Pie | Hester General Store, 1735 Hester Store Rd., Easley | Keep your eye on Instagram for when pre-orders open for this sweet twist on a Thanksgiving classic, with gluten free and vegan options available.

Pumpkin Pound Cake | The Pound Cake Man, multiple locations| If you’re looking to go in a different direction from pie, you can’t go wrong with a different take on a fall-favorite flavor or 70+ other flavors.
