As if Hampton Station wasn’t noshable enough, Due South Coffee is up and open SEVEN DAYS A WEEK from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. I just can’t leave Due South without a bag of the yellow label Brazil Paubrasil, described as having notes of toasted almond and chocolate, I simply think of it as my archetype for what coffee should taste like, hot, in a good mug.

If you buy a bag, you get a free cup on the spot and they’ll grind your beans how you like (drip please).

We stopped in to the new Sunday Brunch Market while we were there. What an easy stop with lots of my favorite vendors including Bio-Way Farm, Blue Ridge Creamery and GB&D food truck (now I need a burger). We sipped ale at Birds Fly South, plowed down a taco from White Duck and called it a rather succinct, darling field trip. Sunday Brunch Market will continue until it’s cold if you show up and support.
