It’s back to the grind for students and while the kids are groaning and the parents celebrating, here’s how to make the first day back to school the smoothest it can be.

📓Follow the List: Greenville County, as well as most individual schools and teachers, have their school supplies list uploaded to their website where parents can print it off and take it with them to the store to find the best deal.

Set a Routine: Summer days are filled with staying up late and sleeping in even later, so practice that school-time early morning routine as soon as you can.

🗓️ Know the schedule: If you have kids at different level schools, make sure you know the different Greenville County start and end times between elementary, middle, and high schools, so that drop off and pick up can be effortless.

😰 Talk out Anxieties: Whether your student is starting a whole new school or just the idea of a whole new grade seems to make them worry, talk it out before the big day. Discussing these new changes and their anxieties can make the day of much smoother without any tantrums or water works.

🎉 Don’t forget to celebrate: The first day is a big deal for teachers, parents, and kids alike. Kick-off the school year off right with a special after-school treat at your favorite Greenville spot (and tag us on a photo of the kiddos enjoying their local favorite).
