As you already know, Artisphere 2019, presented by TD Bank, is coming up quick. This year’s festival is taking over downtown May 10-12 – and there are so many returning visual artists we can’t wait to see again (like Janina Ellis + Glory Loflin, just to name a few).

After six years of living in GVL and showing up for every day of Artisphere – even in extreme heat (a cold drink helps) – I finally bought my first piece of artwork last year: a beautiful, moody landscape painting by Michelle Jardines, who won MAC’s 2018 Flat Out Under Pressure contest.

Do you have a favorite purchase from Artisphere? We want to know what artwork you’ve purchased in the past from the festival, and hear the backstory of it. How did you discover it? Who is the artist? What speaks to you about it? Or, just send us a photo of it being loved in your home or office.

Click the button below to email in photos with:

✔ the artist’s name

âś” description of the piece

âś” which year of Artisphere you bought it

(✔ plus any other fun details you feel like sharing – we love personal stories).

Your beloved art could be featured in an upcoming GVLtoday story.

Email your photo + info to partners@6amcity.com.

Because that’s the best part: Artisphere is super approachable. It’s a weekend full of opportunities to meet artists, learn their stories, and really connect with a piece of art. Show us yours.
