Here’s the major impact Artisphere 2019 made on GVL 💰

Artisphere just announced some really impressive numbers from its 15th annual festival presented by TD Bank, which took place downtown the weekend of May 10-12, 2019.

69,703 patrons spent a record-high of $1,340,500 on art, with the average artist selling $9,930 worth of art (breaking the previous avg. artist sales record of $9,200). Total economic impact also hit a record high of $9.1 million for the weekend. 💰

Here are some additional stats from Artisphere 2019:

  • 300+ professional, emerging + student visual artists exhibited and/or demonstrated at the festival
  • 6 local musical acts performed and 13 local nonprofit performing arts groups (200+ performers) showcased on two stages
  • $20,000 contributed by Artisphere to its partnering volunteer groups
  • $275,000 total dollars to-date contributed to local nonprofits by Artisphere
  • 1 purchase of incredible art that my boyfriend + I personally made (hi, Chloe here, Branded Content Studio Manager + very proud owner of this print) from Nashville artist Kate Harrold

Applications for Artisphere 2020 (May 8-10, 2020) are now open through Oct. 4. Who else is ready for next year?
