Not too long ago, we had a chance to enjoy a few glasses of wine at City Scape Winery, and get a sneak peek of the construction of their new building.

This new building for the Pelzer winery will allow them to have much more indoor space and will be perfect for the colder months when drinking wine outdoors may not be ideal. Right now, they expect the building to be finished + open to the public by mid-to-late December and we’re already dreaming of what the new space will look like all decked-out with holiday decorations.

So, what all does this new space entail? It’ll be a perfect place for adults and families, as they’ll have a section that’s more “family friendly” and an area that’s more intimate and cozy. They’ll have a patio that overlooks the vineyard and a giant wine glass. Wait, a giant what?

Yeah, that wine glass. City Scape owners, Deb + Josh, tell us that this outdoor wine glass could be in the running for the world’s largest wine glass. Now that’s nothing to wine about.

Their expected December opening will be here before we know it, but in the meantime, you can still visit them for their tastings and events. Oh, and be sure to say hi to Pinot the pig while you’re there. 🐷
