Alternative transportation is #trending

After riding Greenville’s Greenlink bus ( <- a video of me racing a bike + car... ) in last weeks Bike, Walk, (Ride) Greenville event, alternative transportation is top of mind. It also seems to be top of mind for a couple of Clemson students who want bikes to be the primary transportation to campus (who wants to deal with parking anyway?).

If congested parking lots aren’t enough to keep you from driving, they’ve made the whole “bike to campus” thing pretty easy. Membership are $5 (annually), which include a free bike helmet, links with my.Clemson app, and they’ve even implemented bike lanes in the area.

It looks like the alternative transportation trend is catching on.
