Catch this: Head over to Fluor Field on Thurs., March 3 to celebrate the start of the 2022 Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic, presented by Huk (aka the most exciting three days in bass fishing in the Upstate).

The family-friendly kickoff party is happening from 5-8 p.m., featuring live music from Steel Toe Stiletto, fireworks starting at 7:45 p.m., and activities for kids with the Go Out{side} Experience. Bonus: Stadium concessions will be open if you get hungry. Pro tip: There is a clear bag policy in place for this event.

Can’t make it to the party? There are plenty of exciting tournament events happening over the weekend. See some of the best anglers on the planet compete on Lake Hartwell or explore the outdoors expo at the Greenville Convention Center. Boats will be taking off from Green Pond Landing & Event Center (470 Green Pond Rd., Anderson) each morning with live weigh-ins taking place each afternoon at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena (650 N. Academy St.). Bonus: All events are free.*
