This Saturday marks the one year anniversary of the Upstate Coalition for Equality’s Women’s March in Falls Park. If you didn’t make it last year, it was a really beautiful thing to see our community come together for a peaceful rally supporting the national event.
There are couple new aspects to this year’s Women’s March, including ~10 speakers and the launch of the 2018 Women’s March agenda: Power to the Polls. This voter registration campaign is an opportunity for individuals to advocate for policies that reflect their values + elect more female candidates to office.
Donations will also be collected for The Homeless Period Project at the park entrances. Needed: individually wrapped maxi pads + liners.
